Interesting how things happen. My parents are divorced, sadly. But, oddly enough they are still sharing something right now-suffering. My Dad had surgery on his spine last week to replace titanium plates that were put in there over 12 years ago. Then, the other day a bug bit my mother while she was sleeping. She didn't think anything was wrong but found the bug in her bed while making it. Long story short, she became quite ill and her lymph nodes are very enlarged. She was placed on antibiotics and steroids. THEN, coming out of the Wal-Mart yesterday she fell on some uneven blacktop that had just been laid and fell FLAT on her face. She got very bruised there and on her leg AND she broke her foot!!!! So, they are both unable to get up and around, probably both for about 6 weeks!!!!! So, if you could pray for them I would appreciate it. Their names are Bert and Melody.

I should just say also, as my mother would be mortified if she read my post about "bugs" in her bed. (Not that she is on this forum, but you know what I mean.) It wasn't a case of bed bugs or anything.  It was some sort of "pincher bug"??? I have never heard of that or maybe that is just what she called it. But, apparantly she had a very bad reaction to it.

Oh, dear, Kim! I will pray for sure!
And I totally get what you're saying about insects in the bedroom. Our house has been invaded by tiny biting beetles (and ants, ewwww) that are small enough to fit through the screen openings. I promise to pray, not judge!

Thank you all so much for the prayers. My Dad is still in a neck brace and has pain so could use the prayers. My Mom has been getting around a little on crutches, but she is a real go-go sort of person, so it has definately been a life-change for her. She seems to be doing alright with the boredom so far. We visit every other day to do housework and get grocery lists. They could still use many prayers for good healing since the spine and foot are both super important! (If that makes sense.)

Oh, you are a good daughter!
I will pray for them! It can be difficult as the elderly get around, more accidents can happen! It takes a lot of patience and love. You are doing that, so I will include you and your family in my prayers also.
