The only thing I can think of is to put it a salad - either a fruit salad or any salad that you would otherwise put mandarin oranges in. Mostly, I just eat it!
Peace,
Nancy

you could probably use the juice in place of lemon or lime in a marinade

I like the avocado & grapefruit salads.
Here is one:
Berried Avocado Grapefruit Salad
Bibb lettuce
2 avocados, seeded, peeled and sliced
2 cups grapefruit sections
1 cup fresh raspberries
Prepared sweet vinegar and oil dressing
Line salad plates with lettuce. Arrange avocado, grapefruit and raspberries over and sprinkle with dressing.

You can slice it in half, sprinkle with cinnamon*, place on a baking sheet, and bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
Yummy!
*Or cinnamon sugar if you are not worried about sugar. I think it tastes sweet enough without the sugar.

Angie, is this an abundance of your neighbor's grapefruit?
I just found this recipe on "Just Fruit Recipes" - a Grapefruit Margarita...
...or does that seem weird, like don't mess with a margarita.
I love grapefruit and I love margarita. So I'm thinking it could be good.

I had snapper with grapefruit once. It was delicious.
I looked for a recipe on line and found this recipe.

We sometimes segment a few, and then cook them in butter and sugar, and serve with thick cold cream. Very delicious, if you like grapefruit.

Grilling fish on top of thick slices of citrus fruit is yummy. (Spray grill with Pam; slice fruit about an inch thick and lay on grill; top with fish.) You normally can't eat the fruit (too charred) but the flavor drifts up into the fish. Yum.

Yes! Can you believe it? And guess what we just had planted in our backyard...a grapefruit tree .
Ladies, this collection is im*press*ive! Thanks so much. I'm going to do my best to try them all. Right now, I'm off to saute them, a la LucyP .
Love,
