I have read past posts but am still wondering about changing from Seton religion to kolbe next year. The only difference in texts is Faith and Life vs. Seton's text (if you also go with the kolbe bible history - which seton also uses.). So my main question is: if you have chosen faith and life over Seton's religion (or vice versa) tell me why. . .

Sorry my 2 different posts started - can you tell I am planning next year!

I have both. I like the format of faith and life (it's not a wordy and long winded as Seton) but the awesome incredible art work in seton (f&l is kind of just there as space filler. Birght but not thought provoking inspiring beautiful)

For the actual catechism I prefer to just use the Balt cat.

So I am probably no help at all!

You are a great help! That confirms what I have been thinking. I think dd is tired of Seton probably as you say - they are long winded. I too like the balt. cat. and think it goes just as well with the faith and life so, for now I think we will go with faith and life next year.
