My sister-in-law just called me and asked me to please pray for a woman....Mandy....who is pregnant. Her doctors are telling her that her baby has Down syndrome. She will find out next week if it is definite. If the baby does have Down syndrome she plans to abort the baby. Please pray that Mandy has a change of heart and does not abort her baby if the doctors are correct.

Couldn't you just cry?! I'm praying for Mandy and her precious baby.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that *we* have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion. Amen.

Is this a single woman? It is just so sad, that child would be cherished by any number of people!
Praying for her change of heart and for her to feel the support she needs to let this little one live!

I just read an article yesterday about how families WANT to adopt Downs babies and are waiting up to three years to get them. This baby is wanted by someone!!!!

Dear Christine,
What a beautiful tribute to a child. Tears are rolling down my face as I relive my last pregnancy. I was told at 20 weeks that my son had Down sundrome. Unfortunately, there is such a push to abort these children. I was asked 5 times by health care professionals whether or not I was going to terminate my pregnancy. It was horrid. No one would listen as I told them over and over that it was never a possibility for me. One doctor even said, "Many women say they are pro-life until they are faced with these results. 90% of Down syndrome babies are aborted"....and I now know why. The doctors and nurses pushed it....almost to the point of harassment.
Unfortunately our Jacob had other problems and died in utero at 34 weeks....what a loss for all of us  .
I will forward this article to my sister-in-law. Maybe she can somehow get it to Mandy.

Our prayers are so powerful !!!
I just found out....Mandy has decided not to have her baby tested for Down Syndrome. Even her doctor has stopped pushing her to be tested. She has decided to just let things be....and allow her baby to born regardless of the outcome !!!
