This is scary.
My best friend lives in a midwestern state. One of her colleagues (also her personal friend, and someone I've gotten to know over the years) is receiving threatening letters at home and work. The police department is not returning her calls about this issue. Her daughters live with her. This is extremely frightening.
Please pray for the personal safety of this family. My friend's colleague is newly divorced and her ex-husband is also worried (and doing his best to help).
Please beg Saint Michael to protect this family. Ask him, too, to inspire this mom to seek protection if she feels threatened, and to inspire the police department to take the threats seriously. I found out about this situation a short while ago and I feel very worried. Please join with me in begging the holy Archangel Michael for his protection against evil.

Oh Nancy! This is horribly, horribly frightening! Does she have an alternate place to stay (family? friend?). Does she have any idea who is doing such a thing?
...so, so scary!
You can count on my prayers for your friend, her children, and their absolute safety!

Oh Nancy , ST. MIchael & Our Lady We have had miraculous results regarding protection .
I was going to message you private but thought maybe this would be of help to others if the same situation comes up .
We had a stalker bothering one of our children . You can get a restraining order . place reports . Also we moved our ds to a friends for a good week to keep him safe . We had to walk him to the bus tsop to get to work etc.
It can be very draining & dibilitating . ask the Holy Spirit to surround your friend with light pure holy light . Fr. taught me this regarding actual protection from harm .
The other option and many people find much more helpful then police ( basically often the restraining order & reporting is all the police will do ) is call womens abuse shelters & clinics on how to protect oneself etc.
call even places like the John Howard soceity and other social networks . If this person is doing this to your friend more than likely are they have been doing it to others and they may be on file ,probation etc.
If this predator is of high standing by chance , has cliques in community etc. I cannot say once again how importnat it is to registar with a womens shelter so it will officially be recorded and not covered up etc.
My mother lost a fellow co-worker to an ex it is a very sad truth and reality the general pop often do not take seriously . I will most certainly keep this in prayer .

Nancy,
I will definitely pray for her! And could someone urge her to go to the police station with the letters if they won't listen? If they don't, still, I think I would go on to the county sheriff department or the state police. St. Michael, protect her and her family.
