the Science Guy dvds for less than the $150.00 for 5 episodes that Amazon has. I used them all the time from youtube, but the full episodes seem to have been removed from that site. My library has a few old vhs versions, but only a very few---

Have you tried ebay?

We just lost the Volcanos video and the library told me it's $40!!! to replace it PLUS their processing fee. Unfortunately this particular one isn't to be found anywhere but there are quite a few on ebay...just not sure which ones.

hmm apparently Disney has them now.. had a whole bunch of episodes.. they were $30 each.. ouch but not quite as bad as the other's mentioned.. but I didn't figure out shipping either.

have you considered something like netflicks to see if you can rent them that way?

Correction: Oops, make that one. Two of them are books.

Joann, do you get any local PBS stations? One of our local ones replays episodes in the wee hours every once in a while. I think it is for teachers to use in school, as they do other educational programming at this time. Might be only our channel, but you might try looking.
