Praying for all your intentions here during my Lenten absence.
I had to pop in and ask for prayers for my dear aunt who called me last week with bad news from her MRI. No one in my family knows this info so I come to you all to be her prayer warriors for now.
She had polio at 9 years and has some serious health issues that would impact treatment for cancer, or even surgery for diagnosis. She will meet with an oncologist next Friday and if you could pray for her to have peace this next week while waiting and also have support in making big decisions, I would so appreciate it. And I am sure she would too.
I am so glad you all are here to help me pray. I probably won't visit here for a week or so due to my fast from the computer. Thank you very much for any prayers that can be offered for a really sweet lady.
Update-3/15
I spoke to my dear aunt this am. She has colon cancer with met's to her liver. Could you please continue to pray for her? I wish her to call on the church to help her. I hope for her to see how much God loves her--while she is here. She does not have a strong faith. She has to make the decision of chemo or nothing. Surgery is not an option. Chemo would be hard as it affects her intestine in not pleasant ways and she is not able to walk well. What a hard thing to do today, to decide NOT to treat something.

The "aunt" is going for a liver biopsy today. She sounded pretty upbeat when I spoke to her after her meeting with the oncologist on Friday. I am sure your prayers helped her. Could you please lift her up in prayer today as she goes through her procedure? We are happy she does not have to be put under anesthesia as she has many issues with breathing and her lungs--she really isn't supposed to be alive her 02 saturations are so low. I know she will be nervous and does have anxiety issues.
