Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anyone recommend a news source (online or print) for my sensitive 8yo ds?

He loves science news and is interested in politics, but is too easily frightened for standard news sources and the only kids' source I know if is Scholastic which grinds the environmental catastrophe/overpopulation axe too often for me to be comfortable with it.

I'm sorry to reply when I dont' have anything useful to add but it helps me keep an eye on a topic I'm interested in.

We too tried the Scholastic (Weekly Readers?) and the liberal bias was just too much. ick!

My girl is also interested in world events and politics and I'd like to find her an age appropriate news outlet but have no idea where to start. I'm hoping you get some good responses!
