Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I meant to post this in a new topic and accidently posted it in the prayer thread for the McGovern family. Sorry for the duplication.

Molly's friend, Ginna, sent this update to Denise and I. I thought it beautiful and asked if I could share it. She gave me permission to do so. She also mentioned that the music was simply beautiful. Thank you for all the prayers and keep them coming:

***********

"Oliver Joseph's funeral was very beautiful. There were 300 to 400 people in attendance, and 16 altar servers. Molly's friend, Msgr. Cornelius, presided along with Fr Conrad, CFR who knew Molly and Bill many years ago at Franciscan, and Deacon Mark Miravalle.   Monsignor's homily was awesome--about life in the womb, life on earth, and the new birth to life in heaven.   About 200 people came to the funeral luncheon. Several of her brothers and sisters came. They are surrounded by love. People were very generous in their material needs as well. We are blessed with such a Christ-filled community here.

She is truly suffering but with great poise. Someone told her last night that seeing Oliver lying there was like a glimpse of heaven.   I know that the prayers of many are sustaining her. Now the long, dark night begins for her as friends begin to leave. We here intend to keep vigil with her and Bill. I think they will need prayerful support for a long time....

Oliver, that one little soul, is already touching and healing many. May he continue to intercede to the Infant Jesus for them.   I'll keep you posted. Blessings, ginna"
