Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Fwded from Maria:

I know you must be feeling as awful about Molly's little Oliver as we
are. On the FCL list I began a novena for Molly and her family and I
thought I would pass it along to you in case you might like to post
it on 4real as well and we could all pray together for them. I found
a novena to the Holy Family that was so beautiful and comforting and
also most appropriate....they also lost their Son. We're on Day Two
on FCL....as the funeral is today, I especially wanted to pray for
them, and thought the only way we might be able to make this terrible
cross a little less so is by gathering together in the Body of Christ
through prayer.I know everyone is already praying and making
sacrifices...I just thought this might be a beautiful way to pray
with one voice as the family of God.
I'm sorry to write about something so sad just as you are also both
sad and yet rejoicing over the loss of a baby as well as the blessing
of new life.
God bless,
Maria

Most loving Jesus, by Your sublime and beautiful virtues of humility,
obedience, poverty, modesty, charity, patience, and gentleness, You
blessed with peace and happiness the family which You chose on earth.
In Your mercy look upon Molly's family. They belong to You, for they
have received Your many blessings over many years and entrusted
themselves to Your loving care.

Look upon their family in Your loving kindness, preserve them from
danger, give them help in time of need, and grant them the grace to
persevere to the end in imitation of Your holy Family, so that having
revered You and loved You faithfully on earth, they may praise You
eternally in heaven.

Mary, dearest Mother, to your intercession we have recourse, knowing
that your Divine Son will hear your prayers. Glorious patriarch,
Saint Joseph, help us by your powerful prayers and offer our prayers
to Jesus through Mary's hands. Amen.

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone
who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession
was left unaided. Inspired with with confidence, I fly to you, O virgin of
virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me. Amen.

Novena to Saint Joseph

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before
the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires. Oh, St.
Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from
your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So
that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my
thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I
never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not
approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and
kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw
my dying breath.
St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls- Pray for us.
