Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Moms~

Have had a bit of a stressful week...and I need to teach our once-per-month coop for the Catholic, Home School-Preschoolers tomorrow.

Trying to pull things together. The group is about 12-20 big, depending on who can come...

Any ideas for "Catholic" circle games...or circle games that can be adapted to have a Catholic tone?

Any feast day ideas?

I am overwhelmed on this end. If I was smart, I would pass this onto someone else, but I feel like it is too last minute--and my dd LOVES it when I teach. I know she is excited. I guess mommy is fun.    It's probably a good diversion for me right now, anyways...

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thank you!

I don't have time to link a bunch but Tracey over at Pinewood Castle has some absolutely treasure filled ideas about circle time.

Here is a link to those posts of Tracey's (above) tagged as circle time.

If you are looking specifically for games what type would they be - all sitting quiet or are more active okay? "Duck, duck, goose" is one of the most adaptable for me. It can also be done as the variation of "Drop the Handkerchief." Just this week we did it as "Dove, Dove, Grace" (for Feast of Presentation) and have done the drop the handkerchief for Lent or St. Veronica's feast day with a cloth that has the image on it. I'm trying to think of other names I've given it for the Catholic slant...
