Okay, I'm stumped. For starters, I am not pregnant. We're actually trying to avoid a pregnancy right now, but even so, I've taken two pregnancy tests and they were both negative.
I have felt nauseated morning and evening (and sometimes during the day) for, gosh, a month or so now. I don't have a horrible diet, although I do eat too much sugar in general. I hadn't been drinking enough so I upped my water and it didn't affect the nausea. I do have some stresses at home, but not life-or-death stress, just fairly normal stuff. And with baby finally sleeping well, I do typically get a good night's sleep.
I hate to call the doctor without trying some things on my own first. i can't find anything online that matches my symptoms. I would swear I was pregnant, by the nausea NOT by my charts, but the odds of two home tests coming back negative (one in the first days of my cycle and the other today--day 11).
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks so much!

Nausea in pregnancy is I believe caused by hormonal changes.. and you can have funky hormones without being pregnant.
A simple low intervention herbal is Red Raspberry Leaf.. it simply helps normalize your hormones.. has some uterine toning qualities but just generally helps everything function better. Be sure it's the *leaf* and not a raspberry flavored soemthing. You can take it as tea or get it in capsules.
But I don't trust pregnancy tests because they can show false negatives.. and I had one pregnancy where I was 8 weeks LMP before I got a positive. That was at least 3 negatives about 1 week apart before I got the positive.

I was horribly nauseous when I started dealing with high blood sugar issues. I went through lots of pregnancy tests before I figured it out. You might try cutting back on the sugar and see if it helps...

One of the symptoms of my gastro-esophogeal reflux disease (GERD) is nausea, especially in the morning before the Prevacid that I take first thing has kicked in. I think over-the-counter Prevacid is available; maybe give it a try and see if you feel better? Or maybe see your dr.? There are probably lots of things that cause morning nausea that we'd never think of. I hope you get relief soon, though, because it does not feel good to wake up nauseated (duh - you know that first hand).
Peace,
Nancy

Might be worthwhile having a thyroid test done - that's how my thyroid problem first presented. It's about the right length of time postpartum for it to be showing up too.
Gallbladder can also do it too.

I agree with Michelle, low blood sugar makes me nauseous. Have you tried eating right away when you wake up? Add more protein to your diet, have a protein snack before bed and see if that helps a little.
Also, like Jodie said, it does sound a little hormonal. Progesterone is also what makes the nausea in pregnancy, and this part of the cycle it runs higher to prepare for possible implantation. I find magnesium the cure all for the PMS symptoms. That and B6. But try to make the magnesium citrate and not oxide.
