I asked for prayers this week for wisdom in talking to dh parents about why we no longer have them watch the children. This is due to difference in beliefs, and the things the children are exposed to or not protected from when with them. We want to be positive, yet confident in the Truth and Faith, without hurting them AMAP. I am somewhat dreading this. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will give us words of wisdom and that our words will testify to the Truths of the Faith(we want to be a positive example to them of what faithful Catholics truly belive, esp. as they are of a church that is very anti-Catholic), and that they will listen instead of shutting down. We do have a very good relationship with them, and they ARE a lot better than most in-laws out there. We don't want to damage that.
They are coming over around 4 o'clock this afternoon. Thank you to anyone who can pray for us!

Thank you ALL for your prayers! It went pretty well. We all kept a positive attitude, and we were able to explain a lot. I don't htink they totally "get it", but they are understanding more of what we shared on protecting kids and avoiding occasions of sin.
If you can spare a real quick prayer, one more small thing on this whole topic that I'm anticipating is who will watch the kids when the baby is born. We will have to have someone else there to keep an eye on the children during the birth. Probably dh's godmother or my mom if she can make it in time(8-10 drive). I'm concerned that it will hurt my in-laws that we are having someone else watch them even in that circumstance. It must be so though, when the twins were born MIL was asking 8 yo dd to watch late night news with her!  Please pray that at the time it will all work out for the best of us all.
