Dear Families,

Some of you may remember Sabine Summerville and her son, Michael, who suffered a near drowning in October 2008.

Well, Sabine, her family and her son Evan are in great need of your prayers.

A week ago Monday, Evan went into the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. Since then, he has endured numerous infections and now Sabine has told me that, "It doesn't look good. The doctors think the infection has created a hole in his intestine."

Please, please pray.....they have so much going on right now.....

Sabine just called. Evan is in surgery again and she really isn't sure if he'll make it.

Please keep the prayers coming.

This is via Maria RIoux:

Say a prayer of thanks because Evan is out of surgery, they found the problem (a perforated intestine...that they perforated...) and even though the wound was almost 2 weeks old, the flesh was healthy enough for them to be able to sew everything back up. He will be heavily sedated for 24 hours but then he should grow stronger and stronger and stronger. Yahoo!
