What are the guidelines for posting books and movies? Are there any? I'm new here and would like to join the conversation but would like to know the rules b/f I try to play along.

I ordered Simplicity Parenting. I'll keep my Intro - Ch 4 (or whatever) comments to myself and join the conversation where you are.

I really look forward to that book!

Rebecca, I think if you want to give a quick review of a movie you've seen or book you've read you simply add a post to the Book Club 2010 or Movie List 2010 threads. If you want to discuss a particular book or author at length, and there isn't a pre-existing thread (do a search) then start a new thread to discuss it. Maybe the moderator of this forum will have a chance to answer you today, but generally the books discussed are presumed to be generally acceptable to Catholics.

Rebecca, welcome to the 4Real forum! You are more than welcome to post or any or all of the Simplicity Parenting threads anytime you feel ready to do so. Please do note that the book is not "Catholic" or even Christian in any explicit sense, but many ladies have posted wonderful quotes from Catholic saints or authors that help us as Catholics to approach the subject of simplicity from a more spiritual perspective. I'm sure everyone would love to read your comments!
