So ... I am in need of a slow cooker recommendation.

My all-time favorite slow cooker - the 6.5 qt. programmable All-Clad Slow Cooker just died with an entire meal inside ... bummer!! I saved the meal - it is on the stove in a dutch oven for another 3 hours, ugh!!!

Anyway, I need a new slow cooker. Any recommendations - preferably another 6.5 qt or larger, programmable slow cooker?????

I just got a Hamilton Beach "Stay or Go" 6 quart (don't know if it has that .5 or not)

BUT when I was shopping for it.. I saw they have one that is also programmable and I think it also came with a small one in addition.. like for serving hot dips or appetizers like lil' smokies in sauce.

Anyway the locking lid is WONDERFUL. I often take my crockpot to Church for potlucks and the soup and bread lenten dinners so I really love it though I haven't used it much yet. And it didn't seem to get too hot like I've heard about a lot of newer slow cookers.
