Dear friends,
My husband just got some bad news concerning his employment and he will be quite affected and emotionally and spiritually challenged for the present time. He needs prayers. Please pray for miracles concerning my husband, this faithful, sacrificing father of 9, and his employment intentions and all that weighs on his heart--- especially for some measure of relief or comfort or consolation, if not good news (which would cheer us all!).
(As an aside, do you remember I asked you to pray for my two CFers and their two-month treatment plan a couple of months ago? Well, they just finished up and will be re-tested mid January--I'll update you when I get news. Once again, I was reminded what a man of character this is who is the father of my beloved children. He got up and did their treatments early every single morning and never forgot an evening treatment, exhausted at the end of every day, I know. He took it very seriously that it was "his job" and mine was the oral administrations. He took the harder part. He always comes through when the children are sick or have any emergent need, and is the one who chooses to stay awake with them all night, not me, and he gets very little credit.  )

Dear Nina,
Your husband sounds a lot like mine--we have been blessed, haven't we? 
We understand employment concerns, as well, dh was out of work for most of 2009 and it was very stressful and difficult for him, even though he had a good severance package and we were not in dire financial straits...
All this to say, we have special empathy for you all and will pray hard...

Your dh sounds so much like mine! Father Corapi told a friend of mine in Confession regarding her dh, "Do you realize that husbands like yours are 1 in maybe a 1000 or more? Appreciate him!".
