Please pray for me and my family...the stress of this situation is
killing me...
What happened?
We purchased 3 bunk beds and 6 mattresses LAST YEAR...we chose 6
months deferred financing with the intention of paying it off IN FULL
a full month before it was due. We had a closing on a small loan to
make home repairs and they automatically cut a check for this
financial institution as part of the closing. Said check was mailed
out and CASHED with that financial institution's mark on the back of
the check. They have been back and forth with me and my bank(that
cut the check) for months now. Now they tell me that this is NOT
their stamp. Meanwhile I have been charged allll the back interest on
this account at 24% interest and I have been forced to pay the
minimum charge plus 2 bank by phone fees so they don't report this to
my credit report. My bank (that cut the check) is livid...the lady
there, Maria (thank you Blessed Mother) has gone above and beyond the
call of duty and has gone to bat for me on this issue sooo many
times....she is going to get a wonderful letter written to her
superiors .....
Please pray this does not go to court and someone stops this
merry-go-round and we get credited for all monies spent and this issue
is ERASED from our account.
I am sooo stressed out....soooo much money and every dime counts here.
lesson learned...no more deferred financing.....I guess what they say
is true, there is no such thing as "free"....so many claws attached!
please pray for us...we are struggling to stay out of debt...
God Bless you!

Lots of prayers here. I had a similar problem one year when a $3,000 college tuition payment went "missing" after being sent to the school. I remember well the stress.

Donna Marie,
I will be praying. Ugh!!! This sounds situation is horrible. My Dad recommends St. Matthew and St. Jude when needing financial help. They have yet to not intercede for us. Please be assured of our prayers.
God bless!
