I was going to include this with my dressing topic but then thought perhaps it'd get to long . so ideas for dips for vegies and crackers or chips . I've got a tub of really gross light cream cheese ( I had no idea how horrid this stuff tasted   ) so I thought maybe if I could stir it up with flavour it may be rescued yet .
I'm looking for some healthy snack ideas for the child who will not eat and often dips are intriging to kids .

garlic + cream cheese = yum, you can add snipped chives in there too if you like

my long-time favorite is spinach-artichoke, with lots of garlic

here's alton brown's recipe which looks very close to what i make (i don't have exact measurements and this sounds about right)
