Please pray for my physical and emotional health after this miscarriage. I am experiencing abnormal bleeding now that is not subsiding...my nfp doctor is out of town (of course) and I am not sure who to trust at this point. I put in a call to my midwife, but her back up obgyn is not someone I can see. Hopefully, my midwife can allay my fears a bit...
Please pray that the bleeding subsides and that I have peace.

Prayers Maggie. I was just where you are a few weeks ago. Shepherds Purse and Rescue Remedy worked well to slow the bleeding a few times. We did go to the ER where I turned down a transfusion and signed myself out. The bleeding was bad, but slowed after I passed our baby. I know it is very scary. Many prayers for you

Thank you all for your prayers. My midwife was not too concerned and told me to start taking Floradix as an iron supplement, which really helped. And my nfp doctor said that my uterus was probably irritated by part of the baby that did not come out the first time. I bled for an additional two weeks and stopped yesterday. Finally.
Thank you all so much for the prayers. We were so worried given that our doctor was out of town...I didn't want to see anyone else and hear "D&C"...praise Jesus that was not the case...
In the meantime, we have submitted our charting to the Pope Paul VI Institute. If you could pray that we are able to be seen relatively soon, that would be wonderful. I have been told that the wait is generally 4 mos.
