we've saved and waited for years to tear up this circa 1985 carpet in our home.
we ordered new carpet for about 1/2 of our home, and dh and older 2 sons are tearing up all carpet, pads, etc. and moving all of our stuff so we can save some labor costs.
So, today was to be the start of the big project.
I've got kids vomiting and no beds to put them in, and I'm feeling really pukey!
Of course this morning we also got the call with bad news about the extent of repairs needed on our car, which is in the shop, and dh spent over 6 hours and some money to repair our only 14 mo. old dishwasher.
Please pray for our health, and mental and financial stability.
It's getting stressful in many areas.

Oh Lisa. I'm sorry for this. I'll remember to pray. Just throw some sleeping bags on the floors and pass the buckets around. At least no one is vomiting ON the new carpet.

thank you all so much for the prayers. I relied on them heavily these past few days!!
THANKFULLY  the stomach ickies were contained primarily to two kids, and it was the 24 hr kind- yay!
I ended up with a sinus bleed (happens 1-2x per year, due to change in weather, pressure, I have a bleeding disorder) and am working hard to keep it under control.
Carpet is IN!! it feels so nice in the bedrooms and our home seems quieter already! (we have wood/tile on 1st floor)
thank you all again for your prayers.
May our newborn King Bless you this Christmas-time!
