Many of you on lists with me have already heard my laundry list of prayer requests but we need as many as possible.
First of all, a young teen (15) at our parish and his girlfriend were killed in a car accident on Sunday about dinnertime. My husband and I are youth leaders along with a couple other friends and this is the first time our parish has had a death like this in quite a while. The family is devastated and in need of a great many prayers. His name is Tyler Brewer and I know his family will appreciate your prayers.
Next, we found out last night that my dh's step-dad is back in the hospital. He's had kidney failure issues, congestive heart failure, depression and I think he also has diverticulitis that is the cause of his current hospital stay. They live in KY now and we aren't able to be there to assist them like we wished but there are two other siblings out there. LAYERS OF stuff going on but this is the main focus right now.
My dh has a major exam tomorrow and is very stressed with things going on. He has his Senior Reactor Operator exam (with the NRC). Please pray for him to not let all this stress affect his performance on the exam tomorrow.
There is a real possibility that we may have to intervene with a relative and take in some small children sometime soon. (5 and 3) This isn't certain but looks more and more probable with a phone call we received today about said relative going to jail.
To top it off, I fell and broke my kneecap yesterday so I'm not much good around here.
And Carrie's 2nd birthday is Thursday and I'm not able to do much of anything around the house...
So any prayers you can offer we surely appreciate!
Sorry this isn't so well written but I've got a tired 2 yo tugging on me..
