My two older daughters are in the Nutcracker this weekend and next. My husband, luckily, will get to watch the performance tomorrow but then he leaves very early the next day for Afghanistan. We were lucky to have an extra month with him but it's going to wear on us this close to Christmas.

I would really appreciate prayers for us all. My son is really taking his pending absence hard.
