Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello everyone. I was just talking to a friend of mine in Alabama. Her husband's family have been encouraged to remove his father (Tommy) from the respirator he needs to assist with his breathing.

Tommy started out with lung cancer, but it spread to other areas such as his esophagus. This made it very hard for him to breathe to begin with.

Yesterday things progressively got worse, to the point where he was transferred to a different hospital. Today they were informed they needed to make a decision on whether or not to remove the oxygen.

I plead for you to keep their entire family surrounded by the comforting arms of the Lord, as well as safe traveling for those coming from longer distance.

Thank you so very much in advance.

How painful and stressful for this family! Praying for the Holy Spirit to surround the situation.

I'll be praying, Steph. I can't imagine the heartache involved for this family.
