Tomorrow dh and I are driving 4.5 hrs to NJ (and back the same day) to visit his brother who is in the hospital. He has been moving between the hospital and a nursing home/rehab facility(physical rehab), for the better part of a year, and continuously for the past 4 months or so. He definitely needs this Christmas visit; we also plan to clean his apartment, which has been shut up for 4 months. (Can't wait to see the fridge ). Anyway, they're calling for snow, which might make travel tricky. Please pray for safe travel, calm nerves, and healing for my bil.
Peace,
Nancy

Prayers for you Nancy - I hope the weather doesn't cause any trouble - it was so oddly warm here just yesterday (I'm in NW NJ) - well into the 60's - it's amazing that they are now calling for a little snow - but just a little.

Thank you all for your prayers. The trip up and back was long (left at 8 a.m., home at 12:30 a.m.), it was snowing much of the way. Fortunately, during the time we were cleaning the apartment, the trucks were out and the roads were treated before we had to drive on them again. As to bil -- who knows. As it turns out he has been away from his apt., in hospital, but mostly in a nursing home (he's the youngest person there, at 54) waiting for an infection to heal so that he can have surgery, for the past 6.5 months! We hadn't realized it was quite that long! Very slow progress, but progress nonetheless. It's just a very difficult situation, very sad, but not really anything we can do much about. Please continue to pray with us.
Peace,
Nancy
