I'm with Anne, came thinking one of you found the perfect book light!
I literally have gone through 6 book lights in the last 12-18 months!
I just bought another one yesterday at Target from their gift section. At this point I think they are just disposable buys

Me, too...I did a quick search for a review, though. Have you tried any of these?

This is the one I have heard good things about. But I haven't tried it yet so I can't say from personal experience how well it works.

The light Michele linked to is the best book light my children have tried. The older ones all received one for Christmas last year. We have tried many over the years, this one has had no complaints.

My husband has a Light Wedge like Michele linked above. I have tried it and it is OK. I really depends on the size of the book you are reading. You put the light on top of the page you are reading and it lights up the whole page. I have never really been able to read in bed so I find it awkward to hold it and the book. It works well for those who like to read in the car though.
