A friend of ours who is a mother of six and a teacher was recently offered the chance by the school board to have an in-depth physical exam free of charge. She took advantage of the offer and a scan taken as part of the procedure revealed a golf ball sized tumor on her kidney.

Today she found out that there a 95% chance the tumor is cancerous and surgery was scheduled to remove her kidney on this coming Tuesday.

Please pray for a successful surgery, that the tumor is either not cancerous or the cancer is contained, and a healthy recovery for this young mom of six little ones.
