Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have a tin tea set for their daughters? I always assumed that these were just for pretend, but I see reviews in which people say they use them for hot drinks.

I wonder if the drinks taste tinny...

eta: oops! I don't know how I posted it to this forum. Can a moderator please move it to the appropriate place? Thanks!

Molly,

I need one of these too, since I just promised my daughter not two hours ago, a tin tea set!

I guess great minds think alike

My children have a tin tea set which is always down, and a china one which they have to ask for. They only have water in them though to play with dollies, and we use proper tea things for actual drinking. You would only get a teeny amount in a tea set cup, wouldn't you? I imagine the tea sets might not even be safe - not designed for drinking with glazes etc, and tin would get burning hot if you made tea with boiling water...

Those were my thoughts, too, Lucy. That is why I was surprised by the reviews.

I also have the Green Toys recycled plastic set that I thought was just for play. Apparently, people put tea in that, too.
