Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

As I finish this past Author study (Allen Say) I want to start reading Fairy tales and Fables with my 7 year old.

So what are your recommendations?????

Here is what I have so far: (They are directly from Elizabeth's book and the one's that my library has)

Rapunzel (Zelinsky)
Goldilocks and the three bears (Brett)
Thumbelina (Jeffers)
Snow white and the seven dwarfs (Jarell)
Snow white and Rose red (Cooney)
Cinderella (Marcia Brown)
The three Billy goats gruff (Galdone)

Fables (Lobel)

Also does anyone have any links for unit studies with Fairy Tales???

TIA!!!!!!!

Also, I think Cay Gibson (she's a member here) has/had a book list/literature study for different Cinderella tales from around the world.
