Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well, silly me, just opened up the oven to find last night's leftover pizza sitting there waiting to go into the fridge. My husband has a crazy week and kindly picked up some Costco pizza for us last night and dropped it off for us to eat before he left for his own dinner meeting. We were supposed to have the leftovers tonight!

So, the pizza was in the oven (off) from about 5:30 last night until (gasp!) 12:30 today! Oh, dear. Is that too long to eat it again tonight? There's just so much of it that I don't want to toss it and I know my husband's looking forward to it.... but I don't want any of us to get sick!!

Any thoughts? Would you eat it?

Blushing as I admit my silly mistake,

I'd eat it. Those things are full of preservatives anyway. And it's pretty much how I made it through college, LOL! But I'm pretty brave that way.

LOL -- ditto.   But I'd probably toss it now, personally. I have become more paranoid since I was a teen.    My heart always breaks a little when I toss something that COULD still be good but on the other hand....

I love eating room temp pizza for breakfast or lunch the next day! I've done this for several years and have had no ill effects, I think...

Ha ha! Thank you for the input! Husband and I ended up eating it, but our daughter had something else. Well, I should say we ate it after I reheated it in the oven long enough until I thought any nastiness would be cooked out! We're fine today!
