I'm in the process of ordering Elderberry so we can boost our immune system against this flu. I use Natures Sunshine products sometimes and I notice they have a children's chewable form here

 | I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if this would be effective? I know there have been discussions of Elderberry syrup and these are a chewable tablet, so I just wasn't sure. (I don't want to spend money on something that isn't going to do much good.)

I have read that the syrup is more effective... can't remember the reference though.

I use an extract.. you use a much smaller dose than with a syrup.. so while it looks more expensive it really isn't.

You can make a syrup yourself out of dried berries and flowers.. I get most of my culinary herbs from Herbalcom.com and they have berries and flowers.. then you could make a syrup or tea or such with them.

Jodie, can I ask where you get the extract that you use? Is that from Herbalcom.com as well?
