Hello All,

I have no idea if this is the place to put this request but I have a real need that I think many of you will find funny.


I need fall colored leaves!!!!!

So here we are in S. FL and it is 94 degrees today and my kids are learning about Fall! We have been studying the trees and the seasons and my poor children feel really sad that they don't experience the seasons soooo I thought I would ask if anyone would be willing to send some leaves????? We would love a great variety and they don't really have to be different colors but just different trees would be great. Imagine trying to explain a maple leaf, oak trees and acorn without ever seeing them in real life! My kids are young, 9, 7, 3 and 1 and my oldest were born in MN but don't even remember snow

So any takers???? We would be more than willing to reciprocate and send lovely shells from the beach and even some nice flowers if you would like. PM me if you are interested in becoming our Nature Study Buddies!

What a fun request! I come to this thread late and was willing to assist as we are currently getting outdoors and pressing leaves in old telephone books. So pleased you have your nature buddies! What a great group here...as always.

Oh, how neat!!! I was just coming too to say we could send some! I never thought of those of you in more southern climates that might not have fall color around you to use! I'm so glad you have nature buddies already, mimi!!!
