Ladies, sorry, I'm super-late with this -- meant to make the announcement last week but I got sick!
I don't even have a blog post up yet to announce it, will try to get that up sometime this week.
Anyway, our October theme for *Loveliness* is HUMOR. I've observed that as homeschoolers one of the things that majorly keeps us going in our "jobs" as wife-mom-teacher-Catholic is this JOY thing, something that I don't have down yet but always striving for. It is a pleasure to see on blogs, on posts here, in families around us. It's infectious and such a blessing. I love being able to laugh at ourselves, at our human efforts, our failures. Laughter doesn't just help us, it lifts others up as well. I know many a time when I'm discouraged in our homeschooling or parenting efforts, it only takes a funny blog post or just some humorous perspective of a similar situation from another mom and I'm right back to the attitude of YEAH, WE CAN DO THIS!
So friends, share your humorous, funniest homeschooling/parenting stories with the rest of us.
Since October is the Month of the Holy Rosary as well, if you have some stories related to your family's prayer/Rosary time, they would be most welcome also! I know prayer time is supposed to be a serious, solemn time in our homes, but I have to admit there were some moments in my family growing up that had us in stitches, even while praying. And it happens here too, now that I have my own. We just keep on plodding along and hoping that Our Blessed Lady understands. (I think she does :))

Just a bad time for me Stef.. I'm soooo busy and 
If it wasn't for the littles needing lap time and the baby nursing I'm not sure if I'd get to be on the computer much

actually... i'll be honest... me too 
maybe i should make it easier.... like if people already have funny posts from the past -- i can just gather links and round it all up. i was gearing up to write something new... but dh is SWAMPED and you know how that rubs off... and we have family coming in this weekend. so...

okay, i totally dropped the ball on this one. sorry gals. i had two submissions and didn't know what to do, and then got busy and wasn't able to post here to ask for advice, etc. hopefully november will be better.
