Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I received this into my email inbox through another catholic home school list. They are beginning a 54 Day Rosary Novena. This Novena is for our country. People know that prayer is powerful, and may be our best hope for this country.
Blessings,
Tracy Q.

Dear Faithful Catholics,

This morning the headline on Fox News was "Obama to Usher in New World
Order". If you've been following the news the past few weeks, you know that
things have become very bad very quickly and are getting worse by the day.

We will begin a 54 Day Rosary Novena for our country, *The United States of
America* on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, The Feast of the Holy Archangels,
Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. *This novena will be in petition to Christ
the King and the Immaculate Conception, the Patroness of the United States.*

Begin on 9/29 *Feast of the Holy Archangels *(If you get this late, just
jump in. We have already started for you.)

Pray a five decade Rosary, beginning with the Sorrowful Mysteries, with your
family or in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

It is suggested to pray the Joyful Mysteries on Mondays and Saturdays, the
Sorrowful Mysteries on Tuesdays and Fridays, The Luminous Mysteries on
Thursday, and the Glorious Mysteries on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Pray the Rosary in *petition *for 27 days, ending on Sunday Oct. 25, T*he
Feast of Christ the King* (on the Traditional Calendar).

Pray the Rosary in *thanksgiving* for 27 days, beginning on Oct. 26 and
ending on Saturday, Nov. 21, the *Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady* and
the *Vigil of Christ the King* (Current Calendar).

Other suggested prayers to follow the Rosary:

*St. Michael Prayer*

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against
the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and
do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into
hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of
souls. Amen.

*Collect for the Solemnity of Christ the King *
Almighty and merciful God,
you break the power of evil and make all things new
in your Son Jesus Christ, the King of the universe.
May all in heaven and earth
acclaim your glory and never cease to praise you.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

*Prayer to the Immaculate Conception*
O God, who by the Immaculate Conception
of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your
Son,
we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son,
You did preserve Her from all stain, so too You would permit us,
purified through Her intercession, to come unto You.
Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.
Amen.
