Mrs. L and for the repose of her husband Mr. L. he passed away 3 months ago and she is having a seriously hard time dealing with his loss. She questions the meaning and purpose of life and has seen a therapist to no avail.
I visited with her yesterday and I felt so helpless at the end of our visit. My words of encouragment felt empty because I never have lost anyone so close to me. She is Jewish, so I don't want to preach to her at all and my only hope for her is that she find hope in life through God.

I love her dearly and I am very sad about this.

If anyone has any words of encouragement that you might know please pm me.

Oh Claudia,

I will be praying for the words to come to you. I just recently went to my first Jewish funeral and was overwhelmed by the sadness. They are still waiting for the savior so it really is just sad. Our dear friend, who lost her brother very young, was simply unconsolable.
