Has anyone read Kate Di Camillo's new book The Magician's Elephant? I love The Tale of Desperoux ad The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and am wondering if the new one is good as well.

We just finished it last week. It is a good book but not in the same league as Desparaux.

I was wondering the same thing. We just bought The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and my middle daughter LOVED it. She read it in one day.
