Dear COMHS Family:

        A dear homeschooling friend from our homeschool group passed away at 3:47 p.m. today after a 15 month battle with brain cancer. Penny was a beautiful lady whose love for her family, and the Lord were palpable. She taught me so much about how life is precious, and where my priority on this side of Heaven should be. Penny and her family showed us through their example how to live and die with complete trust in God's will and purpose.
        Please pray for the repose of the soul of Penny. And please pray for comfort and peace for her husband, Michael, and her boys Michael and Nolan. The boys just began their school year at a Christian school last week. God is so merciful, that the boys had just come home from school, so Penny's family were able to all surround her as she passed away. I know they really are grateful for your prayers.
        I will miss her terribly, as will so many.

I will of course pray for the repose of her soul, as well as for God's comfort for her boys and her husband who must miss her so very much. Praying as well for all of her friends and family. May God's ocean of mercy be all of yours.
