Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of a good appropriate for children film version of A Midsummer Night's Dream? I would really like a stage version on film. The one I got from netflix had inappropriate costumes (and it was performed by the Royal Shakespearian Company) and it was a weird 60's film version. I am so glad I previewed it first. I had to turn it off after the first few scenes
Thanks!

I guess I should tell you why I need this Our homeschool group is going to perform the play and I would like the kids to see a stage version of it to help them understand the actions and everything involved. A film version would help with the speech, but a stage production would really help with blocking and actions.

This might be too late but my son really enjoyed Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare 4 Kidz. We got it through out library.

I can't get the link to work, but my children loved the one with James Cagney and Mickey Rooney from 1935, it's a B&W version, but very good and innocent.

We just watched the one with Michelle Pfeiffer as Titania and Rupert Everette as Oberon, and it is fantastic, but VERY much PG-13. We loved it, but I definitely would not show it to a kids group. Just wanted to warn you about that one.
