Tomorrow my bil will be on Life on the Rock to talk about my fil's sacrifice for my down syndrome bil. Those interested can watch it on cable or EWTN has an option to watch their stream live from their website. Their homepage lists all the watching live options.

I'd heard about this down in my "neck of the woods" Maryan and it sounds like it will be a wonderful thing to watch!

There's not a dry eye here tonight after that song and photo montage!
So glad we were able to watch!
It was a great example for my husband to hear about as well! What a beautiful legacy your fil leaves, Maryan!

I can't believe my vcr was off!!! We had 4H tonight and I set it to timer record. But I forgot to reset my clock from the last power outage!!! Argh!
So I did the splurge and bought the dvd after the show. It'll be well worth it!
Oh and Maryan I have to tell you, my oldest son (you know who!) when he saw Father on Tuesday leaned over and said, wow, he looks like Coach. Do you know how many eyes rolled at that comment?? I'm telling you...we are quick over here!

I watched the encore presentation just now. It was a very moving episode. I feel very blessed to have seen it.

We watched it ... of course Comcast had "moved" EWTN so it took us a bit to find it, but we prevailed! I loved how they focused on the fact that Mr.VW lived his whole life the way he died -- being an amazing Father! The pictures were great too ... it's phenomenal how all the boys look just like the dad!
If you missed it ... try to see it later ... it is a great 50minutes of your time. And make sure your kids and dh are watching -- there's messages for all in that broadcast.

We did well... until the photo montage. Then the gushes came.
And Kacky -- I can't tell you how many times Dan and Father have gotten mixed up for each other. Once was even a request to hear a confession.
