hi all, new request from me:
18-yo dd has been having pain since saturday evening. looks like we do have to get her third molars taken out and soon. she's seeing the oral surgeon today. the dentist recommended this done last year but we put it off because of our travel plans, plus i didn't have mine taken out 'til i was 23 so i figured she probably would be fine (great call, mom ... not  ).
a couple of concerns: she starts college 9/8 and she'll need time to recover. (i was still bruised two months after my surgery, so i'm hoping she doesn't have the same problems i did.)
dh is having surgery 9/1 so we'll have to time HER surgery such that we can take care of her too.
please pray that we are able to schedule this so that everything works out to the good of all. a prayer for St. Apollonia's intercession would be great! thank you so much!

Praying, Stef! Sounds like you will be Florence Nightingale for a bit. Just to let you know, I had five wisdom teeth removed on a Friday and went back to work on a Monday. I will pray for a quick recovery!

Praying all works out. Hopefully she won't be too bruised. I was only bad for only about 2 weeks after mine were taken out.

Eek!!! Surgery tomorrow...whew! What a whirlwind! Well, maybe that means she'll have plenty of time for recovery, Stef, before she heads off to school on the 8th!
