The boys put the groceries away yesterday. I went to get a cantaloupe out of the refrigerator, and found the bags of frozen vegetables that I bought. Peas and corn.
What were they thinking?
sigh.
The corn feels completely thawed, the peas nearly so.
Do I try to refreeze, or am I eating corn and peas all weekend, instead of the fresh stuff I bought? I shop for 2 weeks, and these were the vegs for ~the 2nd~ week.
I know it's not a big loss financially, I'm just trying not to go to the store in between my big trips. And I'm starting school on Monday, and thought I had at least my meals taken care of while we ease into our new schedule. HAH!

I would probably refreeze them myself.. quality might decline a bit and you might want to split it into meal sized bags so that even if it's a frozen chunk you can cook up only a meal sized portion.

I'd re-freeze them too.The texture may change a slight bit, but you'd notice it only if you were comparing them with a non-refrozen veg.

I'd definitely refreeze, Tami! If you're including them in a casserole or as part of a stew you'll likely not be able to notice anything different!
