A good friend of mine has asked my advice about these programs. I have absolutely no clue whatsoever. She's looking to switch from Abeka (I think) to something that has their quizzes and tests in the lesson book. Meaning, she is tired of the systems that have a separate book for quizzes and tests, and drills and such. I know she said they have a couple of workbooks, but if only one book needs to be on her kiddos' (she has 6 ds's) shelves at a time, that's the goal.

Anyone really like it? Really hate it? Any advice? Know of any other systems that are combined?

I use Alpha Omega math for my 15 yos. He likes it because big books overwhelm him He likes the skinny worktext and the uncluttered pages. I don't think it moves very fast, but that is good for my son.

Its not anything "special" but it works.
