John and I want to thank you all for the prayers and words of encouragement as we try to get through this incredibly hard time. The unimaginable silence has come now that Matthew is buried and John had to return to work today. I feel very heartbroken and numb, but I know God will heal that in His Time. Some days I have made it through by rereading all of the words of love from comments and messages from all of you and I want to thank you deeply for all of you who took time out of your busy days to write to me or who stopped and prayed for us. I know that it is your prayers that are providing the grace for us right now.
Matthew's Mass of the Angels was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
Thank you again for being with me during my entire pregnancy and delivery and funeral.
Please keep us in your prayers for God to someday soften our hearts again and to help the sadness lighten as well. Love Emily

It has been such a distinct privilege and blessing to walk this Via with you!  Many prayers are coming as we continue to walk together. Though separated by distance, the prayers of your sisters here unite to comfort and hold you up at the Foot of this Cross!

May God continue to bless you and your family! Your faith has been such an inspiration to all! When Matthew passed my little girl Hannah(4) drew him pictures to send to him in Heaven. They like looking at your blog and his pictures. Your story and your sweet little boy touched people in more ways than you will ever know! Your little saint is now watching over you and your family and I am sure praying for you always! I have no words of comfort, I can only offer you my love and prayers from one mommy to another! I will pray that God helps to heal the sadness in your hearts and to give you comfort and peace as well. Precious little Matthew Karol pray for us all!

I was off the boards during most of your ordeal with Matthew but know that you have been in my heart and in our prayers these last couple of days since I caught up on happenings here. I know how hard it is Emily, when life goes on and you are still overwhelmed with grief. Also, remember, you are still recovering from a traumatic c-section and must care for yourself and take it easy. Please be gentle with yourself and ease back into your routines. Little Matthew is showering you with his prayers and love from Our Lady's arms. I just know it.
Our candle is lit before our icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa for you right this minute. Much love and big .

Emily,
We continue to pray for your family every day. Our whole family was touched by Matthew and your family's strength and courage. When our little guy was sick and they didn't think he'd make it, we went to a local church that had "Bless all people o Lord with Peace" painted on it's dome ceiling. That gave me such comfort everyday. I will continue you pray for that peace for you.
