My friend Lee has had to fly to Korea because her mom had a heart attack. There are three blocked arteries (one is severely affected) but no surgery is possible right now, because Lee's mom is too unstable. Please pray for them.

Also, please pray (and ask St. Joseph for prayers!) for my friend Dan from Slidell (father of my godson Michael). They are still displaced by Katrina; they're currently living with Dan's dad, but have been told they have to leave soon. FEMA and the private insurer have not come through with any useful help. They might be able to get a FEMA trailer (for five people!!) but have nowhere to put it. Please pray that their housing situation improves soon.
