Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Ladies,

How would you gently introduce math to a preschooler?

Just via every day activity?

Or games? (sorry if this is an off-shoot of Sarah's post)

If games, what is age appropriate for preschool?

Thank you all!

Maggie

I think Suzanne got it all. :) Candyland and Chutes and Ladders are perfect math games for that age. And puzzles! The perfect math activity for a preschooler! There's also a fun book by Maryann Kohl called Math Arts that is wonderful!
