Our family has been out of our home for 28 days, now as we move from Minnesota to New Jersey. Our stuff is being loaded by movers in Minnesota as I type while we are in CT. We are supposed to be driving in a couple hours to southern CT while we wait for out things to arrive in NJ (day unknown). I am supposed to be flying to Texas tomorrow morning with my youngest for four days.
AND, my 4yo son who has a shunt in his head is complaining of being sick and is saying he feels sick and all his symptoms point to shunt failure. He could just be hot and tired and stressed but if he doesn't improve we'll have to take him to an ER. We don't even LIVE anywhere and I don't know what our insurance situation is right now and if his shunt is failing it would be a simple fix but would still mean brain surgery.
Please pray that my little boy just needs a nap and some air conditioning. I'm off to read him a story (instead of packing for the next stop on our trip).

Oh, Susan - I am praying for this intention!
Our Lord often offers opportunities for growth in virtue when life seems its most chaotic, doesn't He? Just breathe through each moment, beg for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment and all His gifts. And trust!

Thanks for your prayers everyone. My son was having difficulty with a different but related medical issue. We were able to resolve it on our own and he just woke up from a long nap acting like his old self. And the movers just called to say our belongings are successfully on the road. Now all I have to do is get my family successfully on the road! Thanks again.
