His command screening board meets tomorrow. There are many officers eligible for three slots. Only one of those slots is close to home. Selection is good for the career, moving is not so good for the family. For one (important) thing, it will jeopardize our son's state residency - he starts college next fall, God willing. He could spend the fall applying to schools, only to discover he can't afford to attend them. We have a dancing daughter to consider, as well.

We believe it's best to trust in God's plan for us. We're not sure if we should have our son apply to schools in two other states (just in case) or consider a geo-bachelor option (we have done this and it is horrible). We need prayers, obviously!

Please pray tomorrow for the members of the selection board and ask God to make His will known to us in enough time to make good decisions for our family.
