Tim, I don't know if this will help you with troubleshooting, but I thought I'd pass along my experience. From Active Topics this morning I responded to the tea time post, but my post was lost. When I went back to find the topic, I realized that Elizabeth had both replied to the original post and moved the topic to a different forum. I guess that was probably a fluke that all of that would happen at the exact same time, but I thought I'd let you know.

Thank you for all of your hard work! This new format has blessed me immeasurably.

Molly and I must have been working at the same time (we're the only ones who are ever online at 6 AM . Jenn's post was in Real Learning. I moved it to Fireside and then I responded to it promplty in order to make sure it got back into the active topics. MOlly must have responded as I was moving....

yep. there are bound to be occasional glitches like that associated with the stateless nature of the 'net.

since it usually takes a few minutes to reply to a post, that is more than enough time for the post to 'disappear' -- as happened in this case.

kudos to you for realizing what happened and why.
