I'm almost 17 weeks along with this pregnancy and have been experincing round ligament pain in my uturus (or around it I guess!).
Have any of you ladies experienced this and if so how did you find relief from it? It's not unbearable more like uncomfortable and at times very painful for a minute or two. But I was just wondering if any of you had any tips for how you dealt with it. Thank you!

If I remember right.. the hands and knees rocking helps with that.

My chiropractor was able to stretch the ligaments for me and that eased the tightness.

Hi Jen,
I'm so glad I just read this forum and saw your post! I suffered horribly with round ligament pain (but only during labor, go figure!). After almost four years (and during that time I also experienced a ton of charley horses during the middle of the night), I found the solution. A homebirth midwife (after I asked doctors and nurses for years to no avail) told me to take an extra calcium supplement, preferably liquid. She said any muscle or ligament pain usually signifies a calcium deficiency.
So I tried it, and literally the same night my charley horses stopped! No more ligament pain and to this day I am so thankful for her.
I still use liquid calcium, but mostly for helping to sleep well at night. I use the "lifetime" brand that I buy at iherb.com and it comes in a blueberry flavor which is pretty good.
I pray that this helps you!!!

Thank you Mary! I'll try that. Especially as my hips and legs have started to cramp (well my legs cramp....my hips just bother me something awful in the night!) And the round ligament pain isn't "horrible" but uncomfortable almost all the time. I need a good night's sleep before the baby comes!

And don't forget to use it after the birth because it does WONDERS for the after pains
Thanks Mary, I didn't even think of it for the round ligament pain.. but use it for achey legs and joints and afterbirth pains etc.
