That would be me....after my allergy shot today. It was only my second shot...but it was a biggie. My heart rate shot up to 140's, I felt like I was going to pass out, they gave me epi right away, but now I feel pretty crummy, and I am suppose to be leaving in a few mintues to take my dh for a steroid shot in his neck and back...and he'll be pretty "out of it" for a few hours. I had to use my inhaler on the way home, and feel okay, but not 100%. I called the doc, and they said to take another antihistimine, and give myself epi if it gets any worse...."Here Honey, let me help you out to the car, oh, hold on, let me give myself some epi"  Good grief.....life isn't for the faint of heart!!
I would appreciate a few prayers that my reaction doesn't "rebound" and need another round of epi, and that all goes well for my poor dh, who has had chronic pain for months, without a lot of relief, and is now facing a consult for surgery. He has several herniated discs, and they didn't respond to the last steroid shot, so we are trying it one more time.
Did I mention the epi makes me a little jumpy and sentence structure goes out the door? Sorry if this is a little rambly! 
I am praying for all of your intentions!!!

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the prayers, I am doing just fine now, and my dh did really well with his steroid injection. He basically had an epidural put in his neck and back both and steroids injected through. He woke up immediately this time,and is doing better. Whew....what a day!!!
I am fixing spaghetti right now and hope to watch "Life on the Rock" and relax for a few minutes. The good news of the day (um, other than I didn't quit breathing after my shot, and my dh is doing fine)....I got a "Little Tykes" heavy duty grocery cart for Lily at a garage sale for $5!!! This baby won't tip as easily, it looks like an older model, very durable, and Lily loves it!! Way cute!!
